Who are we?
Officially, we are the no apologies youth group. The name comes from a verse in the Book of Romans Chapter 1, verse 13. It says there that we are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. So, if we aren’t ashamed, we aren’t going to apologize for being Christians. That’s just who we are. Jesus invites everyone to get to know him, so we invite everyone to join us.
This is the spot where young people from the no apologies youth group can share their ideas. We want to help teenagers get to know Jesus and then reach their generation for Him. If you don’t know Jesus or anything about him, but you’re interested, we still want you here.
We like to think that we aren’t just a “youth group”; we’re a “youth ministry”. This isn’t just a place where we keep the teenagers busy while the ministry happens with the adults. Young people are gifted to ministry. Our group aims to assist them as they develop their gifts and serve others.
We would love to hear from you, especially if you’re interested in joining no apologies. You have several options:
1. Use this page to contact the administrator directly - a good idea. Let us know who you are and how you can be reached. This is a junior/senior high school age ministry located in Mississauga, Ontario. More contact options below form.
2. If you’re a more direct kind of person, you can visit the Church of St. Mark’s Lutheran on a Sunday morning at 9:00am or 11:00am and introduce yourself to our Pastor Jeffrey Miskus. He’s a friendly guy and will connect you with a no apologies youth leader.
